Michigan filming wraps for Big Sean's latest music video, A Million Dollars. Shooting lasted 4 days in Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. A few scenes remain to be shot in LA including a cameo with Kanye West. The new album featuring the song will be out in February. |

Fingers debuts at the Hamptons International Film Festival. We are selected for the Golden Starfish Award category, which consists of the top 5 short films out of 50 selected to screen. The category is actually much cooler than the name sounds and Fingers was up against Sundance & Cannes-winners as well as Natalie Portman's directorial debut, Eve. Check it out.

CineVera starts seeing Red. We now have a RED ONE camera package and are seeing the light at the end of the digital tunnel. Finally there's something affordable that comes close to the look and feel of 35mm film! The Red One is going to revolutionize how films are made, especially on the independent level.

Chad went to Detroit recently to help train Tick Tock Studio's new student recruits. Tick Tock is based in Holland Michigan and kicked off their summer with TUG, a comedy feature starring Sam Huntington, Sarah Drew, and Haylie Duff.
The Training was lead by Jeffery Stott, Executive Producer of the Bucket List and Castle Rock Entertainment Executive VP for 14 years.

Pop Evil's new music video, Hero wraps filming. It was produced by Jason Honeycutt and shot in one day. Jason is currently an editor with Disney and an independent producer in Los Angeles. He was pleasantly surprised to find a "competent and professional" crew in Grand Rapids. We were happy to surprise him.

We wrap filming on WAIT by Sheila Hart. Geared towards teen abstinence, WAIT is two short stories of high school couples who learn a hard life lesson. Filming took four days and the films will be distributed to high schools around the country.
